The Exporter category will be fought for by Brandaeur, PP Electrical Systems and Thompson Friction Welding, whilst Contigo, Purity Brewing and Luxury for Less are vying for the Newcomer title.

In the Manufacturer category Sertec, Brandaeur and Michelin will be battling it out whilst the Innovator award will be contested by Contigo, Elite Precast Concrete and Thompson Friction Welding.

Our Pride award – which celebrates corporate social responsibility – sees the Hazel Trees Barns Initiative up against Pertemps People Development Group and DCS Europe, whilst our Ambassador award will go to either the late David Grove of Grove Industries, Stuart Griffiths from Birmingham Hippodrome or Denys Shortt of DCS Europe.

Andy Coyne, editor of TheBusinessDesk.com in the Midlands, said: “It should be a great occasion and one in which an awful lot of people will be actively involved because we will be interviewing all the shortlisted companies during the event.
