A FIRM which makes specialised electrical testing equipment has bought a warehouse and distribution building in Burton for an undisclosed sum.

Crestchic has taken over the premises in Third Avenue, on the Centrum 100 Business Park. It consists of 23,300 sq ft of industrial and workshop space, 2,800 sq ft of office space and a large yard with parking and storage facilities.

The firm specialises in loadbank manufacture and has sales and rental offices in North America. South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Its new premises were previously occupied by Orion Trent, part of the Sheffield Insulations Group, which has relocated elsewhere in the town.

The deal was completed by property consultancy Salloway, which has offices in Derby and Burton. Salloway acted on behalf of the building’s owners, a private pension fund.
