OMSS makes its move

COVENTRY health and safety firm OM Safety Solutions (OMSS) has moved into the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre in Binley.

The company, a full service health and safety company that offers everything from consultancy and training courses to project management and assistance in attaining required safety standards, was previously based at the family home of its founders, the father-daughter team of Daljit and Damini Sharma.

OMSS was established four years ago but after a period of sustained growth has needed to find more suitable accommodation.

From its new base, OMSS will continue to serve clients across the countyry and hopes to add new members of staff.

The company is also working with Christopher Brown at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) to develop a new range of software that will streamline clients’ health and safety processes.

“We are delighted to have completed our move to the Business Innovation Centre in Binley and hope that this will help us to continue to grow,” said Damini.

“My father has 24 years’ experience within the health and safety industry and ran his own business for 16 of those while I previously worked for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

“Things have really sped up recently and now we are looking to expand and further develop our Midlands base.”
