Wolverhampton marketing firm secures US exhibitions deal

A WOLVERHAMPTON marketing firm has been appointed to manage all EU exhibition displays for US engineering business, Technetics Group during 2013.
Tettenhall-based Jon Oliver Communications will provide a start to finish service from developing stand designs and message concepts through to end of show analysis.
“Technetics Group is a fast growing engineering business with a focus on aerospace and gas and steam turbine technology,” said David Wickham, managing director of JOC.
“We’ve already supported it at the Farnborough and Paris Airshows over the past two years; this year we’ll be managing event logistics in Vienna and Aberdeen as well as Paris.
“JOC seamlessly provides Technetics Group with a UK marketing team managing all aspects of its presence from booking space, designing graphics, advertising, PR and generally making sure it has the most efficient platform for presenting its products and services.”
The long established Farnborough and Paris Airshows are held on alternate years attracting in excess of 150,000 trade visitors in just five days and including the public, delegations and the press over 350,000 people (Paris 2011).
“With a show of this size that has developed its own complex culture, over a 100 year history, it’s very important to understand the organisational mechanics to maximise the marketing budget; our clients benefit from our knowledge of the process allowing them to concentrate on meeting customers and developing their business,” added Mr Wickham.
