MIRA makes its case at MIPIM

MIRA Technology Park, the 1.75m sq ft Warwickshire development, is showcasing its offer at MIPIM this week.

MIRA’s participation at the major property development and inward investment show, which is taking place in Cannes, follows the landmark completion of the first phase of the £300M development, site’s 43,000 sq ft  Control Centre last November.

MIRA has already attracted a number of high profile International businesses to the site including Bosch Engineering, Ashok Leyland and Norgren.

The park’s commercial director Terry Spall said: “MIRA Technology Park has been purposefully created to offer international businesses the ideal local for their European research and development operations, providing direct access to the UK’s most comprehensive suite of transport sector resources and facilities.

“MIPIM is one of the most important events within the property industry and will allow us to showcase what MIRA Technology Park has to offer.”

Recognised by the Government for its growth potential and attractiveness to inward investors, MIRA Technology Park was awarded Enterprise Zone in 2011 and has since hosted a number of visits from Government ministers, most recently Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

The development, which aims to create 2,000 jobs in its first ten years, expects to eventually house businesses from across the automotive, aerospace, rail, defence and associated digital technology sectors.

MIRA is exhibiting alongside the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP).
