Cogent Elliott forges cracking partnership with Wallace & Gromit creators

CREATIVE agency Cogent Elliott has joined forces with Aardman Animations, the firm behind Wallace & Gromit, to develop a new national TV campaign for garden products supplier Hozelock.

The ‘Your Garden Loves Hozelock’ campaign stars an animated worm, full of the personality and humour associated with the much-loved Aardman characters. The 20 second advertisement unveils the brand new 4-in-1 Flexi Spray by revealing how its flexibility matches that of the Hozelock worm using the strap line ‘…So flexible your garden will love it.’

One Black Bear helps market Birmingham to the world

BIRMINGHAM-based digital design and development agency, One Black Bear, has completed another enterprise-level web deployment for Marketing Birmingham.

The new businessbirmingham.com website has been launched with the intention of helping the body’s inward investment arm, Business Birmingham, differentiate Birmingham from competitor cities.

Business Birmingham asked One Black Bear to create a website that would support large scale relocation projects from within the UK and overseas, and proudly project the city and surrounding area as a credible destination to base and grow a business.

The new site boasts an improved delivery and presentation of information about the city and region, while offering a simple but more engaging user experience.

Joe Turner, of Marketing Birmingham said: “One Black Bear have created a website that not only goes over and above the brief, but has also been designed and developed so that it can be enhanced again in the near future to keep our digital offering fresh.”

Highlights of the new site include a ‘Birmingham Snapshot’, bringing together key statistics and facts about the city from the whole site, into one easily digestible piece of content. This feature is also interactive, allowing the user to expand on facts and figures and read further, with related reports and case studies attached for reference.

BranchMartinSpicer creates new website for law firm

BIRMINGHAM-based agency BranchMartinSpicer has completed a new website for city law firm The Wilkes Partnership.

The agency was approached by the firm with a brief to design and build a new website that would clearly communicate its messages to a variety of target audiences.

BMS said in a competitive market place it was important that the website stood out and engaged with visitors in a positive way.

“We developed a creative approach using origami, animals and power meanings to set Wilkes apart from the competition. The creative was rolled out through the website and other marketing literature,” said the agency.
