JCB celebrates £3.5m plant hire replacement order

STAFFORDSHIRE excavator manufacturer JCB has secured a £3.5m contract win as part of a UK plant hire company’s fleet replacement programme.

Mechplant, the plant hire at mod the ESH Group, is investing in a series of new mini-excavators and compaction rollers as part of the modernisation.

The company has taken delivery of JCB 8018, 8025, 8050 and 8085 mini and midi excavators made by JCB Compact Products in Cheadle, along with VMT160-80 and VMT260-120 rollers. The machines have been purchased from JCB dealer TCHarrison JCB.

“We are proud to be making this investment and to be investing in British manufacturing with JCB and trading with their local distributor, TC Harrison JCB.”
