NDC signs lease on Worcester unit

TELECOMMUNICATIONS survey and design company, NDC Consultants, has signed a deal on 4,539 sq ft (422 sq m) of office space at Mucklow’s Apex Park in Worcester.
Set over 8.5 acres at Junction 6 of the M5 Motorway, the first phase of development at Apex Park currently comprises a total of four office buildings, with Phase Two benefiting from outline planning consent for the design and build of up to a further 155,000 sq ft.
NDC Consultants has taken the whole of Building 4, a self-contained office building with 16 car parking spaces, on a 10-year term. The deal sees NDC Consultants relocate from nearby Brindley Court to larger premises at Apex Park, with the benefit of immediate motorway access.
Richard Gill, Finance and Commercial Director at NDC Consultants, said: “As a growing business, we felt it was the right time to relocate to a larger building that offered a number of amenities close by.
“Accessibility to the motorway and local public transport services were also obvious assets of Apex Park that are already benefiting both our valued clients and employees.
“Building 4 provides more than double the space we previously occupied, as well as the extra parking required for our team. We now have over 30 members of staff and have aspirations to expand our workforce within the coming year to take full advantage of our new high quality offices.”
Existing tenants at Apex Park include Nexus Housing and Ashley House and joint agents on the scheme are GVA Grimley and Harris Lamb.
Andy Venables, director, National Markets at GVA Grimley, said: “Apex Park offers one of a very limited number of motorway related sites on the Midlands stretch of the M5. It is also unique in its impressive public transport offering, with National Express and park and ride facilities on its doorstep.
“Within close proximity are a number of valuable amenities including the Premier Inn and Beefeater, together with Busy Bees children’s nursery and Tesco Express, adding to the park’s excellent lifestyle offering for business tenants.”
