Woodrow Mercer places itself in new offices

RECRUITMENT firm Woodrow Mercer Associates has signed a five year lease on new office premises on the fifth floor at Colmore Place in central Birmingham.

The company is relocating to the Colmore Row offices from Aspect Court in nearby Temple Row and will initially employ around 15 people from the new premises.

Woodrow Mercer specialises in recruitment in the IT, executive search and energy sectors as well as in the public sector.

Managing director Dan Ostrowski said: “We are experiencing highly buoyant market conditions and our new offices are a real mark of the optimism in the recruitment sector.

“This is a prominent base for us, with excellent access for clients, candidates and recruiters alike.”

Joe Shorney of Birmingham property consultancy GBR Phoenix Beard represented the landlord CBRE Global Investors.

He said: “There is no denying kudos around well-established office facilities in the Colmore Row area and the fact that Colmore Place is again fully let is testament to the embedded trust in this part of the city.”

Other tenants at Colmore Place include Quilter, Hiscox, West Bromwich Building Society and Triton Global.
