Colliers brokers new office deal for Cobalt Square

THE Birmingham Sport and Physical Activity Trust has leased 2,100 sq ft of office space at Cobalt Square in Edgbaston.

The company has taken the space on the 11th floor of the building, which is on the Hagley Road, close to Five Ways Island, on a five-year lease.

Birmingham Sport and Physical Activity Trust plays a key role in shaping sport strategy and policy, working with a range of public and private sport and leisure providers in the Birmingham area.

Joint agents Colliers International and Savills acted on behalf of the landlord, Topland Group.

Matt Long, Director of National Offices, Colliers International said: “Cobalt Square’s flexible offering of quality office space, and its prime location at the gateway to the Edgbaston business district, make it a highly desirable location for businesses looking for accommodation in the city centre. Birmingham Sport and Physical Activity Trust’s new office is well suited to its requirements and we expect further interested in the property.”

Mike Chamberlain, Chief Executive, Birmingham Sport and Physical Activity Trust said: “We’re very happy to have secured a new office for our business, Cobalt Square’s unrivalled location makes it a key strategic location for us and the space itself is well suited to our requirements.”
