Capita and BUPA take space at Coventry’s Tower Court

THREADNEEDLE Property Investments has secured a duo of lettings at its Tower Court office building in Coventry.

Following a recent contract win, outsourced services business Capita has taken an additional 11,657 sq ft floor in the former Courtaulds building, doubling its occupancy there.

In addition, private healthcare business BUPA has chosen Tower Court as its new Coventry home, taking 5,250 sq ft on the first floor.

Both lettings have been agreed on five year lease terms; financial details have not been disclosed.

Situated 2.5 miles from Coventry city centre, Tower Court was subject to a comprehensive refurbishment in 2001. The former cotton mill was transformed to provide circa 53,500 sq ft of Grade A office space.

Douglas Bonham, head of national offices in Birmingham for scheme agent Colliers International, said: “Coventry has been a subdued market for larger office transactions in 2014; Capita’s expansion in Tower Court is one of only three deals of more than 10,000 sq ft to have completed so far this year.

“Capita and BUPA are two high profile names for Coventry and it’s great that they have both chosen Tower Court for their West Midlands base.”

Colliers International and D&P Holt are joint letting agents to building owner Threadneedle Property Investments.
