Relocation takes the stress out of growth for chiropractor

A SHROPSHIRE chiropractor has relocated to larger premises after celebrating its best year to date.

Laura Cunningham, owner of Shifnal Chiropractic Clinic, has relocated from The Parade to Dyas Close in Shifnal.

Miss Cunningham, who has run the business for the past three years, said: “We’ve operated very successfully from The Parade but with our patient numbers steadily growing and our services expanding there was a need for a much bigger clinic.

“This year is a record year for the business so (the relocation) is perfect timing.”

Miss Cunningham, who trained at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, first started working at the Shifnal Chiropractic Clinic five years ago, after completing her studies.

Having previously lived in Shawbury she returned to Shropshire and began working at the clinic full time under the previous owner.

Then three years ago she brought the business and since being at the helm it has gone from strength to strength.

“We currently have over 800 registered patients on the books, ranging in age from 12 to 100,” she said.

“It is a very busy clinic and we offer a full range of chiropractic services but what we have noticed over time is a growing demand for exercise rehabilitation.

“The new larger clinic means we can really build on these services.”

Miss Cunningham now anticipates another successful year ahead and is currently working on plans for further growth.
