Lift company moves up – and into the West Midlands

HOME lifts specialist Stiltz Lifts has moved its headquarters to the West Midlands and created 17 jobs in the area.

The company has taken 16,000 sq ft at The Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, to enable it to cater for the rapid growth it has seen in its electric domestic lift range. Its new site will be its UK home life assembly and warehouse.

It is Stiltz Lifts’ third move in four years after outgrowing its previous premises which were both located in Wokingham, Berkshire.

The move follows Stiltz’s recent decision to open a sales office in Leeds, with the two sites increasing the company’s space by a factor of four.

Stiltz Lifts business development director Lachlan Faulkner said: “Stiltz Lifts is enjoying phenomenal growth each year and our latest move is a reflection of this success.

“The new facility at Kingswinford will allow us to meet the demands of our customers and produce more of our innovative home lifts at greater volumes.”

Andrew Preston, industrial portfolio manager at London & Cambridge Properties, which owns The Pensnett Estate, added: “It’s very pleasing to welcome a growing company that is keen to relocate to the West Midlands. Stiltz was impressed with the business environment The Pensnett Estate provides and we look forward to working closely with the business as it begins the next phase of its expansion plans.”
