Exports give manufacturer’s sales a caffeine-charged boost

COFFEE machine manufacturer Fracino has delivered caffeine-boosted results with a 20% increase in sales.

The Birmingham-based company generated sales of £5.5m, and now exports more than 30% of the 5,000-plus machines it makes each year.

Fracino has been shortlisted in the manufacturer and exporter categories in the 2016 West Midlands Business Masters which take place next week.

The family business, which is now in the hands of the third generation, employs 60 people.

Fracino managing director Adrian Maxwell said: “Our strong year end results reflect our relentless drive and commitment to innovate, invest and train and develop our managers – which in turn enables us to expand our ever-growing customer portfolio regionally, nationally and internationally.”

The company is investing in growth in 2016, launching four machines in four months, and continuing its multi-million pound investment programme at its 45,000 sq ft facility to the north of Birmingham city centre.
