Fashion retailer signs up for shopping centre

FASHION retailer H&M is to create 20 jobs when it opens a store at intu Potteries shopping centre next month.
The Swedish company came to the UK 40 years ago and now has more than 260 stores in the UK and Ireland.
Its latest store sees it take 19,600 sq ft at the Hanley shopping centre.
Carlos Duarte, H&M’s country manager for UK & Ireland, said the store was “an exciting opportunity to expand our brand”.
He added: “H&M is continuing to grow nationwide throughout the UK, offering great quality fashion to both new and existing customers in their home towns and cities.”
New Look Men and Smiggle took space at intu Potteries earlier this year, which followed a £20m investment in the centre by intu.
