Logistics group to move headquarters to Blythe Valley

LOGISTICS property developer Prologis is to relocate within Solihull after choosing Blythe Valley Park as the site for its new UK headquarters.
Park owners IM Properties will build the 15,000 sq ft office building, which will now go before planners at Solihull Council. Blythe Valley Park is next to junction 4 of the M42, close to the company’s existing offices on the A34.
Construction is scheduled to start early next year and be ready for occupation in 2018. Prologis will then lease the two-storey building.

Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK, said: “This new building has been designed specifically to meet the needs of our business as we plan for the future.
“Solihull is an excellent location for Prologis, so we are very pleased to have the opportunity to stay here and join the growing business community at Blythe Valley Park.”

IM Properties was represented by CBRE and Savills, and JLL acted for Prologis.
