HOME heating provider Help-Link has teamed up with television personality Johnny Ball and Yorkshire digital agency Bloom for an £8m campaign aimed at winning new customers.
The campaign includes a new website, integrated search and off-line activities that will build on the 20,000 boilers fitted last year.
Alex Craven, chief executive of Leeds-based Bloom, said: “Help-Link is a strong brand that underpins a great value offer with industry leading customer service. Our challenge is to align their marketing around the customer journey to ensure it is efficient as possible.”

FINN PR’s corporate communications practice, launched six months ago, is celebrating five new business wins and two new recruits to its team.
The wins follow Leeds-based Finn being highly commended at the national PRCA awards in the small consultancy of the year category.
Hosted by the professional body that represents PR professionals, Finn was the only agency outside of London to be recognised on the night.
Finn was also a finalist at the Grocer’s Marketing, Advertising and PR Awards for its work in social media.
Headed up by corporate and business-to-business PR expert, Alison Puente, Finn Corporate’s most recent account wins include national retailer, The Works, and Leeds-based charity, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
The Finn Corporate team has also been appointed on a corporate and business-to-business retainer basis by three additional businesses, spanning the FMCG, IT and engineering sectors.

TOURISM agency VisitBritain has appointed Search Laboratory to manage the multilingual search engine marketing for its online shop.
The VisitBritain Shop is part of a family of websites driving sales for tourism products including tickets for transport, tours and attractions.
Ian Harris, chief executive at Search Laboratory, said: “VisitBritain is operating at the forefront of digital marketing and recognises the need to engage overseas tourists with relevant content delivered in their native language.
“Naturally we are thrilled with the opportunity to apply our scientific approach to driving VisitBritain Shop’s ticket sales around the world, at a time when overseas tourism is playing a crucial role in the UK’s economic recovery.”

OPEN Communications, the PR and marketing communications agency based at Nostell Priory Estate Yard near Wakefield, is celebrating four years in business with two new account wins and a move to larger premises.
As well as moving to purpose built offices, the agency has confirmed its appointment as preferred PR supplier to Al-Murad Tiles, the largest independent tiles re-seller in the UK and Abduls takeaway and diner.

THE newly launched 3M Buckley Innovation Centre has appointed a PR consultant as it looks to raise more awareness of its services.
The 3M Buckley Innovation Centre, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Kirklees Council, is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built building that offers a variety of support designed to assist business growth.
The Huddersfield-based centre is aimed at companies looking to penetrate national and international markets, and houses the latest in technolgy.
Emily Raleigh has joined as a PR consultant to promote the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre as a centre of excellence.
Ms Raleigh previously worked for full-service communications agency, Kindred.
