Lights, camera, action at rugby networking lunch

INTERNATIONAL rugby stars will be speaking at TheBusinessDesk.com Connect’s rugby networking lunch, to which more than 100 tickets have already been sold.
Rugby AM’s cameras will be there to watch cross-code international Henry Paul and Leeds Rhino star Keith Senior work the stage in the second of a series of sporting networking lunches.
They will be joined by Leeds Rhinos’ Jamie Jones-Buchanan and his Rugby AM teammate Alex Simmons, who will compère the event.
The event in September is being sponsored by Network Marketing, following on from the success of the June launch event, when more than 150 business people packed in to Bibis Italianissimo for a great afternoon with Jamie Peacock and Bryan Redpath.
The next event will again take place at Bibis, just two minutes’ walk from Leeds station, on Friday, September 18 – the day England kick-off the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup.
Editor Alex Turner said:”Excitement about rugby will reach fever pitch in September, with the World Cup getting underway and the Super League season reaching its climax.
“It was a great event last time and we’ve got three charismatic speakers so it promises to be another lively and enjoyable afternoon.”
The event starts at 12pm, before sitting down for a two-course meal at 12.30pm interspersed with hearing from our speakers.
The formalities will be complete by 3pm but there’s no requirement to rush back to the office as the networking and chatter will continue, before people move on to find a viewing spot for the action from Twickenham.
We will also be supporting the Leeds Rhinos Foundation as our charity partner during the afternoon.
Tickets are £70 + VAT each or a table for ten is £650 + VAT.
