Boat Show sees DMN on crest of wave

A YORKSHIRE-BASED exhibition stand designer and manufacturer will be the largest single contractor at this year's London Boat Show.

Display Maintenance (DMN) of Huddersfield, has been appointed by major boatbuilder Opal Marine to design and build its stand at the prestigious 2008 London Boat Show which starts on January 10.

The new contract makes DMN the largest single contractor at the Boat Show, which is being held at Excel in London Docklands.

Nick Duxbury, the company's managing director, said: "The London Boat Show is a very important event for us, worth a total of £500,000. As well as Opal Marine, we now work for many of the top names in the industry, including Sunseeker, Azimut, Rodman, Legend, Broom, Express Cruisers and Windy.

"DMN has been designing stands at the London Boat Show for more than 15 years, but this will be our biggest year there so far. Our business is growing strongly and we expect to earn some £600,000 from the event in 2009."
