Deal agreed for property information services companies

PROPERTY information services provider PSG today acquired two Yorkshire-based operations for £725,000 in cash and shares in a move which will help centralise its services in the region.

Chalenor Legal Services and Yorkshire Home Inspections operate together as a PSG franchise, trading as PSG Doncaster since 2004.

The companies provide property information services for East Yorkshire, and PSG Doncaster has turnover of around £900,000.

Following today’s announcement , PSG has merged the operation of its wholly-owned West Yorkshire franchise in Huddersfield with those of PSG Doncaster to form PSG Yorkshire.

PSG Yorkshire will provide its Yorkshire clients with what it described as “an improved and more efficient centralised service”.

PSG will pay £375,000 in cash plus 350,000 PSG ordinary shares of 20p each for the two companies.

PSG, which has more than 100 offices, provides services including company and property searches, as well as coal mining and drainage reports.
