Dine launches ethical buffet offering

CORPORATE events specialists Dine Hospitality, part of the Dine Group, is launching a brand new ethical corporate buffet menu at Leeds Town Hall.

All items on the menu are sourced locally or from sustainable stocks and the packaging’s eco-friendly credentials have also been improved.

As well as cutting down on food miles and supporting local producers, the menu of sandwiches and savoury treats will also help the Leeds community.

Dine Hospitality has teamed up with the charity Leeds Community Foundation and will donate £1 per guest for every buffet order.

Daniel Gill, managing director of Dine, said: “Not only does this new ethical menu allow us to support local producers but it also benefits the regional community as a whole.

“We are very pleased to be in partnership with the Leeds Community Foundation and hope that our corporate clients will help us in raising money for this very worthy cause.”

Leeds Community Foundation marketing and events manager Amanda Bennett said:  “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Dine on its new ethical menu. The donations from every buffet will be a great support in helping us continue our work in the local community.”

The Dine Group now comprises four companies, Dine Hospitality, Dine Events, Dine at Allerton and Dine at the Mansion.
