£500,000 Bannatyne spa set for summer launch

Eight jobs will be created in West Yorkshire when a £500,000 spa is launched by The Bannatyne Group this summer.

The group is expanding its spa portfolio with the new facility at its Wakefield site, which will includes six treatment beds, manicure and pedicure areas and a relaxation area with water beds and heated loungers. It is scheduled to open towards the end of June.

The health club offers a sauna, steam room, spa pool and 20m swimming pool which spa guests will have access to.

Karen Wilkinson, group head of spa for The Bannatyne Group, said: “This major investment in Wakefield is part of our roll out of seven new spas in 2017.

“The new spa is an essential part of The Bannatyne Group’s ongoing mission to deliver a holistic health and wellbeing service to our customers and will enhance the health club facilities.”
