Second phase of £4.2m residential development revealed

The second phase of a Sheffield residential development is going in front of planners.

The Palatine Gardens project, named after a former Victorian pub on the site, has already seen the first phase complete and sold.

Coda Studios on behalf of Crossbow Ventures has been developing the project.

The initial development of 54 studio apartments and penthouse apartments on former commercial land has already been sold.

The site between Henry Street and Roscoe Road is due for completion in spring 2018.

Coda managing director David Cross said: “Within the next month we will be submitting plans for up to 50 further apartments in the same iconic style that has already proved to be such an enormous hit with investors.

“Coda are leading the way in the regeneration of this important area just on the edge of the city centre and we are delighted that so many people are as excited as we are about the Palatine Gardens project.

“A £4.2 million investment for the city on this scale emphasises once again just how committed we are to bringing new life to this previously neglected area of Sheffield.

“The fact that every property in the first phase was sold before work even began is a clear indication that our faith in the redevelopment of the inner city is fully justified.”

This latest scheme follows a strong of successful projects for Coda and Crossbow including Dunfields at Kelham Island and the nearby Bell’s Court.

The Palatine Gardens project is being marketed by the team at Knight Knox.
