Duo of industrial sites sold for £6.5m

Two major South Yorkshire industrial properties have been sold in deals totalling £6.46m.

The first site is leased to One51 ES Plastics, trading as MGB Plastics, and is located on the Barbot Industrial Estate in Rotherham.

The site was sold for ingspan to a private investor for £2.8m, and includes three detached industrial warehouse units and an office totalling just under 66,000 sq ft.

Local occupiers include ZND UK, ASD Lighting, Nikken, ScrewFix, Courier Logistics, Jewsons, Winnard and Euro Carparts. Robin Wimbush from Wimbush Real Estate acted for the purchaser.

The second property is J38 in Barnsley, which has sold for £3.7m to South Street Capital.

The freehold 16-acre site includes a warehouse and yard storage. It includes a range of industrial units from 1,670 sq.ft to 52,068 sq.ft, totaling 215,426 sq ft.

Current tenants include Premdor Crosby Limited, Thyssenkrupp Materials (UK) Limited and Ken Mallinson & Sons Limited. The site benefits from 24 hour access and security.
