Tour de Yorkshire
The Tour de Yorkshire is set to ride into Sheffield on Sunday for stage three of the cycling event. In a bid to bring back the atmosphere that the Tour de France brought to Sheffield in 2014, riders taking part will follow a 194.5km route from Bradford to Fox Valley. The event is set to be incredibly busy, so choose your spot to cheer the riders on carefully. The hub at Fox Valley are also hosting refreshments and a range of family entertainment. Lotherton Hall Food & Drink Festival
Head along to the Lotherton Hall Food and Drink Festival this weekend. There is set to be a whole range of street food traders offering dishes from Mexican to a hog roast. There will also be local producers selling everything from jams to local gin as well as speciality bars, live music and entertainment, cookery classes and plenty for the kids to get involved with too. La Strada at West Yorkshire Playhouse
Oscar-winning La Strada comes to the stage in this adaptation with a new score. La Strada tells the tale of love and loss and the show at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and is set to take you to the heart of the Italian countryside where Gelsomina is bought by travelling street performer Zampano. When the pair come across a circus and a daredevil tight-rope walker, Gelsomina finds herself caught between the two men. Find out more here.

Springtime Live
Spend the first day of May at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate for Springtime Live. The event will include a special visit from Mr Bloom and his fellow gardeners as well as activities all based around Spring, food, farming and the countryside for all the family to enjoy. Live at Leeds
Live at Leeds is set to take to the stage this weekend. The award-winning metropolitan music festival will see over 180 artists perform across the city centre on Saturday.
