Yorkshire’s Zoflora to unveil sensory garden at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show

Yorkshire-based disinfectant brand Zoflora has joined forces with charity Caudwell Children to unveil a sensory garden at this summer’s RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.

Following on from its 2016 Gold medal-winning show garden, inspired by the Yorkshire countryside surrounding Zoflora’s manufacturing base in Huddersfield, the company is returning to RHS Hampton Court Flower Show for a second year in support of its new partnership with Caudwell Children.

The charity provides practical and emotional support for disabled children and their families across the UK.

Caudwell Children is set to open the Caudwell International Children’s Centre later this year, which promises to be the UK’s first facility of its type and one of only a handful of specialist centres across the globe that combines support, therapy and research for those affected by autism.

To provide the centre with a sensory garden, Zoflora has enlisted the expertise of two renowned garden designers, Adam White and Andrée Davies of Davies White Landscape Architects, to create the Zoflora and Caudwell Children’s Wild Garden, which will be launched at the show and then recreated at the centre shortly afterwards in time for the grand opening.

Brand manager at Zoflora, Vicky Motley, said: “The activity at last year’s RHS Hampton Court Flower Show was a great success for the brand, so we’re thrilled to be returning in 2017 in support of the wonderful work undertaken by Caudwell Children.

“This cause has become incredibly close to our hearts and we hope once the garden has been relocated to Caudwell International Children’s Centre, it will be utilised for many years to come.”
The Zoflora garden will be on show at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show from 4-9 July.
