Fast-growing gym chain limbers up for Leeds launch

Fast-growing gym chain Trib3 is opening its first operation in Leeds after signing a lease at a premises in the city centre which has been derelict for 25 years.

Acting on behalf of James Hare, Carter Towler has just agreed a 10 year lease on 4,865 sq ft at 68-72 Wellington Street.

The Sheffield-based high intensity bootcamp gymnasium concept currently has four outlets in Sheffield and Barcelona and has another opening lined up in Manchester.

Trib3 has plans for a further 35 across the UK and Europe.

Carter Towler’s associate director Pete Bradbury said: “Trib3 had been looking at a number of different options in the city centre so we were really pleased to attract them to Wellington Street. The character of the building was a huge factor, as was the location. Their plans to design a unique and completely different style gym offering look fantastic.”

Charlie Hare of James Hare added: “It will be great to see the space being used again as it’s been empty for around 25 years. We are really looking forward to seeing the transformation.

“We hope the new gym will prove to be popular with people both working and living in the city centre who are looking for somewhere with a different approach to fitness training.”
