Multinational construction company signs on to Leeds

Multinational construction company Interserve is taking two floors of Leeds office building Arena Point.

It has taken 8,152 sq ft on the sixth and seventh floors of the building in Leeds city centre.

Knight Frank’s Leeds office advised on the transaction. They also advised on another which will see an unnamed company take 1,916 sq ft in the building, and in the letting of part of the fifteenth floor to Just Add Water.

Owners London and Scottish Investments are investing £1m in the refurbishment of the building, with additional investment in the fourth and fifth floors beginning in the coming weeks, to be ready in time for occupation in mid-September.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner specialising in office agency with Knight Frank in Leeds, who advised landlords London and Scottish Investments, commented: “This is a prestigious letting in one of the city’s most up-and-coming office buildings. It is especially significant that this letting has been agreed before the completion of extensive refurbishment works.

“London and Scottish Investments are spending £1m on a comprehensive refurbishment of the building, including air conditioned offices with LED lighting, cycle storage, shower and changing facilities and a new reception.”
