‘Prime’ industrial investment snapped up in £22m deal

A 320,000 sq ft warehouse, let to kitchen manufacturer Omega, has been acquired for £22m.

Acting on behalf of a local authority pension fund, the capital markets team at CBRE in Leeds acquired Omega Boulevard on Capitol Park in Doncaster.

The freehold property is fully let to Omega until 2034.

Alex Whiting, senior director of capital markets at CBRE in Leeds, said: “The property is in a prime location and is let to a strong tenant who have invested heavily in the building over recent years. The tenant continues to grow their business and employ more local staff.  This acquisition is further evidence of the strength of the South Yorkshire market and positive news for the Yorkshire region as a whole.”

CBRE’s in house building consultancy team in Leeds led by James Forth managed the pre-acquisition building survey and full technical due diligence process on behalf of the purchaser.

Savills’ Leeds office advised the vendor.
