Insurance firm announces Sheffield relocation

Swinton’s business insurance team is set to grow its operations in Yorkshire after moving to a brand-new premises in Sheffield.

The team will move to Forge House, on Carbrook Hall Road, and currently serves around 1,300 businesses across the Yorkshire region and from a range of sectors, including manufacturing, construction and property.

As part of the move, the team will all be housed on the same floor to create a collaborative working environment and better serve their customers. Previously based in Rotherham, the move also improves connectivity with the M1 and makes the team more accessible for its clients.

Jemma Anderson, area development manager for Swinton Business, said: “We’ve been serving Yorkshire’s business community for many years and have a wealth of experience in insuring the key sectors which drive the county’s economy. Our new home in the heart of Sheffield’s vibrant business community gives us a solid platform from which to grow and develop our business insurance offering.”

The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Anne Murphy, said: “It was fantastic to be part of the celebrations to launch Swinton Business’s new office and see first-hand the wealth of expertise in the team.

“Sheffield is at the heart of Yorkshire’s flourishing business community and Swinton’s move affirms its commitment to help firms across the region get the right insurance for their needs.”
