40,000 sq ft trading park fully let with duo of new tenants

A trading park in west Hull is now fully let following the completion of two new deals.

The Hub, which comprises nine units over 40,000 sq ft, is set to welcome Supply Technologies and Diagraph Transport Supplies.

Supply Technologies works in the caravan supply industry and Diagraph Transport Supplies is a lorry parts business which is part of the Euro Car Parts group.

Property agency PPH Commercial helped attract the two new tenants to the site, which was designed and built by Scruton & Co.

Other companies at the Witty Street location include Howden’s Joinery, Tool Station, Brammer and Alvin Morris.

Nick Pearce, PPH director who negotiated the deal, said: “The Hub is a superb location to do business and it’s been very rewarding to bring two companies to Hull which are seeking to grow and expand.

“From a professional perspective, it’s also nice to know this large trading space is now fully let. Scruton & Co took on a lot of calculated risks to get this speculative scheme off the ground and it’s now paying dividends.”

Ian Scruton, freehold owner of the business park, added: “I’m delighted to see The Hub is fully operational because this reaffirms our belief that Hull is a great place to do business.

“The acquisition of these national names backs up our belief and confidence in the city.

“It was an ambitious project to embark upon and PPH Commercial have played a vital role in the whole process, adding value at every stage from concept and design to letting. We’re grateful for their ongoing help and support.”
