Contractor appointed for 78,458 sq ft speculative unit

The main contractor has been appointed to construct a 78,458 sq ft speculative industrial unit in Rotherham following the site purchase completion.

Trebor Developments has selected MCS Group Limited as the contractor.

Work on site at “Atomic” at 31 East, Dinnington, will commence in May for completion in Q4 2019.

The building will be suitable for logistics/distribution or manufacturing uses, built to high quality, sustainable, standards.

Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner of Trebor Developments said: “We are pleased to have selected MCS Group Limited as our main contractor and see work shortly commencing on site. This is the second major construction project we have awarded MCS this month.

“The development provides quality industrial accommodation to meet local and regional occupier needs and represents part of our national development pipeline of similar speculative, industrial, developments, delivering in the order of 3 m sq ft over the next 18 months.”
