Bus drivers agree to strike over one year pay freeze plans

A total of 900 bus drivers in South Yorkshire are holding two days of strike action after rejecting an offer of a one year pay freeze.
Union Unite said that the workers, employed by First South Yorkshire, will strike for 24 hours on Saturday 29 June and Monday 1 July, after voting by 69% for strike action and by 79% for industrial action short of a strike.
