Hortor, the global strategic resource specialist with UK offices in Leeds and London, has appointed Nick Benham as its new Lead DevOps Consultant.

Expanding its pool of recruitment experts, Hortor recruited Benham as a “360 Consultant”, focusing on new business.

After establishing a successful tenure in sales, over the last two years Benham has been forging a recruitment career.

At Hortor he will work closely with a range of businesses, whether these organisations are an SME looking to bridge the gap between their development and operation teams, or a large corporation looking to implement an automated DevOps Environment to the cloud.

Benham will be involved in the entire recruitment process from identifying new clients, winning the business to sourcing candidates. This comprises a full-service model of recruitment, helping candidates in all stages of the process including the preparation, sourcing, screening, selecting and hiring.

He said: “Hortor is successfully making its mark on a rather saturated recruitment sector and this is what initially attracted me to take on the role. The culture, mature working environment and opportunity to build my own desk and mini business from scratch is also really appealing to me at this stage in my career.

“I take great pride in being able to help the very best talent take their next steps in their careers, and I cannot wait to begin this new journey.”

“We are looking forward to seeing Nick build a thriving division in the DevOps space. The future is looking very bright at Hortor.”
