Care home provider expands portfolio

A Nottingham-based care home provider has expanded into Yorkshire.

Zenith Care has acquired Mill Lodge – 42-bedroom, purpose built care home in Bradford – following a funding injection from Barclays.

Mill Lodge specialises in residential and dementia care and offers support for people who require end of life care.

Tanzeel Younas, director and owner of Zenith Care, said: “We have been expanding our portfolio for some time. When the opportunity arose to purchase Mill Lodge, we felt it was a good fit with our other homes. We are keen to build on the good reputation the home has already and to continue to provide a great environment for our clients and staff.”

Alan Mele, relationship director at Barclays in Nottingham and Derby, added: “I am delighted we have been able to support Tanzeel with his latest expansion plans.”
