Leeds-based defence and contingent workforce company, TBW Global, has secured two large contracts with NATO.

Starting in January 2020, the company will support NATO Mission Iraq (NMI), providing simultaneous interpreters during workshops and conferences held in Baghdad.

NMI is a non-combat mission, providing training on a variety of disciplines. The military-specialised interpreters will enable communication through high quality language support and their expertise in the defence sector.

TBW Global has also been awarded 18 exercise support positions for NATO training at the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Norway. Subject matter experts will provide support in a variety of scenarios and exercises. This will also begin in January 2020.

TBW Global is a growing defence and multilingual communication service provider, supplying military training and contingent workforce solutions in the Defence, Security & Intelligence sector.

It ensures defence and security organisations can scale and achieve their objectives. The company has operations in 20 countries and has carried out over 3,500 live exercises and events for the Military and Defence Forces.

Clare Riches, chief operating officer of the business, said: TBW Global is committed to providing peacekeeping solutions in all the regions in which we operate globally.

“We are delighted that our services will be called upon by NATO and we look forward to strengthening our partnership.”
