Utility provider launches new Yorkshire base

Multi utility provider, Aptus Utilities, has set its sights on Yorkshire expansion with the launch of a fifth UK depot.

The company has affirmed its commitment to supporting Yorkshire housebuilders by opening a depot in Wakefield.

Its fully refurbished unit at Normanton Industrial Estate offers more than 14,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space, plus additional yard space.

In addition to working with residential developers, Aptus Utilities is equipped to manage multi utility projects within the commercial and industrial sectors, specialising in gas, water, electricity, street lighting, fibre and vehicle charging infrastructure.

Company operations director, Mark Clegg, said: “We have been working in the region for a number of years and investing in a Yorkshire base was the next logical step to take in order to support our clients.

“We have seen increasing demand for our services in the region and the new depot will enable us to cement existing partnerships, but also support us in developing new relationships with local independent builders who may not be aware of our multi utility offering.”

Aptus Utilities is now recruiting for Yorkshire-based multi utility teams and support roles at the new depot, following the restart of construction and housebuilding programmes after the Coronavirus lockdown.
