New November date for Crypt Factor

This year’s annual singing competition, Crypt Factor, has been rearranged due to the Covid-19 pandemic and will now be held on Thursday 12th November 2020.

This year’s show had been due to take place at Elland Road on Thursday 25th June 2020 after being rescheduled at the start of the crisis in March. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, the show’s organising committee and main sponsors, comprising of Bruntwood, Gent Visick and Pinsent Masons, have worked tirelessly with all the Crypt Factor’s suppliers to rearrange the event.

Crypt Factor is one of the North of England’s hottest charity events, and typically attracts a 900-strong audience from the region’s property and construction industries, to cheer on the singers and raise vast sums of money for both St George’s Crypt and The Leeds Fund, which is managed by Leeds Community Foundation.

Organising committee member, Dawn Allen, from Pinsent Masons, said: “It’s no secret that charities have been hit particularly hard in this crisis, due to fundraising events being cancelled, and this comes at a difficult time when people need their help more than ever. Crypt Factor raises a huge amount of money for two very deserving organisations and this makes a genuine difference to local people that these charities support, so we must do everything we can to ensure that the show goes on.

“Everyone wants the Crypt Factor to go ahead if it is safe to do so. All our suppliers have been very supportive and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone towards the end of the year and making it a show to remember.”

TheBusinessDesk.com is the Crypt Factor’s official media partner and the event’s stage set-up, lighting and sound is provided by Sparq, which is a division of Saville Group. Additional support is provided by Candid PR and Anderson Advertising & Property Marketing.
