Agency round-up: RED and Prohibition

York-based internal communication specialists, RED, has welcomed another national client to its growing roster this month – Anchor Hanover, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of care and housing in later life.

Following a successful competitive – and virtual – pitch, the team was awarded the contract to produce Anchor Hanover’s colleague magazine, arch.

The team at RED will write, design and produce the triannual printed magazine for Anchor Hanover’s 10,000 employees, while developing the magazine’s digital presence.

Louise Creighton, senior communications manager at Anchor Hanover, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with RED.

“While a virtual pitch was new for all of us, it didn’t stop the team at RED from demonstrating their passion for internal communications.

“We’re really excited to continue the arch journey with them and keep delivering a magazine our colleagues love.”

Laura Good, client services director at RED, added: “The team at Anchor Hanover really raise the bar with their internal communications and rocketing colleague engagement scores, so we’re certainly looking forward to supporting their ambitious plans for arch magazine.

“Conducting a virtual pitch in these circumstances was also a first for us – we’re looking forward to thanking the team in person some day soon.”

Leeds-based integrated communications agency, Prohibition, is continuing to grow its client base.

This follows a competitive pitch to deliver PR services for specialist nursing care home group, Exemplar Health Care.

Prohibition is working with the care home provider to raise the brand’s profile, as well as supporting its plan to launch new care homes over the next 12 months.

Exemplar Health Care supports adults with complex health needs, including neuro-disabilities, brain injuries and stroke – and manages 32 care homes across England.

Will Ockenden, director and joint owner of Prohibition, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Exemplar Health Care and to bring our wealth of PR experience to the table from years of working across housing and healthcare sectors.

“In addition to supporting the brand to raise its profile within its own sector, we are supporting the business through the current health pandemic, by offering crisis management and social media monitoring consultancy services.

“Exemplar Health Care is a genuine leader in its sector, providing extremely specialist, and valuable care.

“As such the business has a fascinating story to tell. We are looking forward to continuing to raise awareness of the initiatives and new launches the business has planned for the remainder of 2020 and beyond.”

Jenna Wood, marketing manager of Exemplar Health Care, added: “We’re really pleased to bring Prohibition on board.

“Already in the first few months we’ve seen some great coverage across the local, national and trade press, and we have ambitious plans for the year ahead. We look forward to working with them to continue to build our profile in the sector.”
