Tile and mosaic distributor signs up for 106,000 sq ft property

Developer Sladen Estates has agreed a deal with a major UK tile and mosaic distributors at Nimbus Park in Doncaster – a speculative development of two industrial units.

Verona Group, which is headquartered in Leeds, has taken a lease on a 106,000 sq ft unit in a deal that was agreed in just five weeks. The building will become the firm’s primary distribution location.

Matt Sladen, development director at Sladen Estates, said: “We are delighted to secure this letting to such a high-profile tenant, especially given the uncertain times, proving that location is still key for occupiers.

“Nimbus Park is well-located just minutes off J6 of the M18 motorway, which provides excellent access to not only the UK road network but also the nearby ports and Doncaster Airport and reflects the belief we had in the location when we speculatively built Nimbus Park.”

Adrian Hinchliffe, founder and managing director of Verona Group, said: “Choosing to relocate our storage and distribution to Nimbus Park enables us to benefit from economies of scale from having all warehousing and distribution activities in one location whilst also providing us with high-quality space to sustain our growing business.”

Nimbus Park is a development of two industrial buildings with a unit of 164,366 sq ft remaining and available for immediate occupation.

This unit benefits from 15m eaves, 50m yard, offices and ample parking for both cars and HGVs.

Sladen added: “Nimbus Park would suit both local and national businesses looking to expand or relocate to the Doncaster area with a large ready-made labour pool that an incoming occupier will benefit from.
