Topping out completes at luxury care home

A multi-million pound care home, being built by Springfield Healthcare Group, marked an important milestone when it was officially topped out by Springfield Group CEO, Graeme Lee.

The Harrogate entrepreneur was joined by members of Springfield Healthcare’s team, Joanna Hawkins-Spencer of project managers, Projex Building Solutions and Neil Silcock of York contractor, Simpson, who gathered to celebrate the landmark event.

Due to open in summer 2021, Harcourt Gardens will offer nurse-led care residential, nursing and dementia care.

It will be the closest purpose-built care home to Harrogate town centre.

And it will feature its own garden along with amenities such as day spaces, care rooms, a gym, spa, cinema and café.

Lee said: “I’m very proud and excited to be adding Harcourt Gardens, Harrogate – our sixth care home – to the Springfield care home portfolio this summer.

“With a proven track record of offering kind and compassionate, high-quality care in beautiful settings, I know that this home will offer its residents everything that they could need or wish for.

“We will also be creating over 100 jobs at a time when many businesses in the area may be in the unenviable position of making redundancies – providing an excellent opportunity for people to consider an alternative career.”
