Pair launch online property management company

Prop Home, an online property management and lettings agency, has been launched in Sheffield with the aim of transforming the way rented homes are managed on behalf of landlords.

Paul Harrison and David Wright, who collectively have over 40 years’ experience in the property management industry, said they recognised where landlords were losing out and their new business is designed to bridge the gap.

Harrison, CEO of Prop Home, said: “We have been working closely with private landlords for many years and based on their feedback, have built from scratch a service which meets their needs exactly.

“Landlords are looking for a personal, responsive service backed by a sophisticated online platform which they can access at their convenience giving them all the information they need about their properties.

“We also offer very competitive rates, as we want to make using our lettings services accessible to everyone from accidental landlords to those with large property portfolios in the UK and overseas.”

Wright, chief operating officer, added: “What we are offering is a really flexible service where landlords have the option of accessing one or two services if they just need a little extra help, right through to a fully managed service where we take care of everything.

“We will keep our rates low as we don’t have expensive offices in city centre locations. We’re really excited about what this means for landlords across the UK and beyond.”

Harrison, who lives in Sheffield, is a property professional with over 25 years’ experience in management, development and renovation.

He has a wealth of international property management experience, having travelled extensively in his work in Hong Kong and the Middle East, gaining experience working with international property investors who have UK property assets.

Wright has over 15 years’ experience in sales, lettings, management and surveying.

He studied for a degree at Sheffield Hallam University in Property Development and then trained to be a Chartered Surveyor, before starting his career in property management 10 years ago.
