Blinds and shutters supplier doubles floor space as demand soars
Modern Blinds has expanded its operations at Goldthorpe Industrial Estate, Rotherham.
The business, which was founded in 2015 by Lukasz Niewiadomski, moved into Unit 9A on the 35,624 sq ft Goldthorpe Industrial Estate in 2020.
Due to rising customer demand the business has now expanded and taken an additional unit on the estate, more than doubling its floor area in the process.
It specialises in providing decorative items and made to measure blinds and shutters.
Niewiadomski said: “In 2015 I started Blinds4you. With growing interest and dynamic development, Modern Blinds Limited was created.
“Since then, the results have exceeded my wildest expectations resulting in the need for bigger premises.
“The additional unit at Goldthorpe will allow us to carry out more orders, more effectively and shorten the manufacturing time and costs.”

Goldthorpe Industrial Estate is now home to over 20 different businesses, supporting circa 100 jobs. The units ranging in size from 527 – 2,712 sq ft are arranged in 5 terraced blocks.
