Oktoberfest returning to outdoor city venue after two-year pause

After a two-year hiatus, Oktoberfest Leeds returns to Chow Down, Leeds’ largest outdoor entertainment venue.

People are invited to celebrate everything Bavarian, including a selection of German beers and street food.

The indie food and drink spot will be reimagined with a Bavarian beer hall theme over two weekends – 23/24 September and 30 September/1 October.

A range of German beers from Hofbrau, Ayinger, Erdinger, Augustiner will be available, alongside the usual cocktail and prosecco offerings for non-beer drinkers.

Oktoberfest Leeds will feature a diverse range of food, with Alley Cats from Leeds serving traditional bratwurst this year, as well as rotating world food kitchens, with Asado Kitchen and Luigi Street Food on weekend one, and Sabroso Street and the Asian Street Food Market on weekend two.

The Bavarian Strollers will provide foot-stomping entertainment. The group have toured the world, bringing their distinct brand of oompah music to beer hall audiences. The band will perform two 45-minute sets of live music at each session.

Tickets start from £15 and include free steins plus waiter/waitress table service. For tickets and more details visit: https://www.chowdownevents.co.uk/tickets
