Tech firm accommodates growth with shift to bigger HQ

Yorkshire-based technology firm, FOD Mobility Group, has made a significant investment in a new, larger headquarters to support its accelerated growth in the UK and Europe.

The modern, four-storey Waterfront Building is close to the River Aire near Saltaire in West Yorkshire.

FOD moved into the new premises from its previous offices on nearby Ashley Lane, which had hosted its HQ for the past 10 years.

The move coincides with a period of rapid growth for the business, which includes investment in a recruitment drive this year, and the recent launch of two more office locations in Ireland and Germany.

And the firm plans to expand its presence throughout Europe over the next 12 months, with the launch of additional offices in France, Belgium, Spain and Holland.

FOD has enjoyed financial growth recently, featuring in this year’s Financial Times’ FT 1000 list of Europe’s fastest growing companies with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 57%.

CEO and founder, Justin Whitston, said: “With a number of new recruits joining our team this year and more to follow, we needed a new HQ, and the Waterfront office was a perfect fit.

“The open plan space provides a more flexible and collaborative work environment for our people that fosters connections and creativity when they are on site and supports our flexible workplace strategy.

“We have some exciting times ahead of us and this move underlines our focus on attracting and retaining the most talented people in the industry, enabling us to provide market-leading mobility solutions that continue to meet the needs of our ever-growing customer base in the UK and overseas.”
