Loungers to settle into its latest base at shopping and leisure attraction
A new occupier is coming to The Springs Leeds, adding more food and beverage amenity to the retail and leisure destination located at Thorpe Park Leeds.
Expanding café and bar group, Loungers Plc, has agreed a straight 15-year lease to take occupation of a 4,080 sq ft unit adjacent to Nando’s and ODEON Luxe Cinema.
Loungers is a chain of neighbourhood cafe/bars combining elements of a restaurant, British pub and coffee shop culture.
With over 200 Lounges nationwide, the business has plans to open around 30 further venues across the UK during its next financial year. The Springs will become its second venue in Yorkshire.
Caballero Lounge at The Springs will cater for all with a selection of games, books, toys and menus for Little Loungers. The dog friendly venue is due to open on 22nd February 2023 and will create 27 jobs.

“This exciting new venue will bring a new dynamic to The Springs which is currently more widely recognised for its retail offering. The introduction of a new café-bar, sitting alongside the cinema and existing food and beverage outlets, will widen the audience appeal and catchment with reason to spend more time at The Springs.”
Confirmation of Loungers’ arrival follows just a few months after the UK’s largest homewares retailer, Dunelm opened a prominent 18,362 sq ft sales store at The Springs Leeds.
Other recent openings include Betty Loves Candles and Elan Laser Clinics, and deals are progressing for further food and beverage attractions.
