HQ fit-out to support property firm’s ambitious growth strategy

Henry Boot has appointed ADT Workplace to fit-out The Isaacs Building, its new head office in Sheffield, which the property business is set to relocate to later this year.

ADT Workplace will fit-out the 12,800 sq ft space taken by Henry Boot across the top three floors of the Isaacs Building, providing its team, clients and partners with a contemporary and flexible headquarters.

The Isaacs Building, on Charles Street was built in 1904-05 and has been newly-refurbished to provide over 38,375 sq ft of workspace.

The seven-storey property is within Sheffield’s “Heart of the City” development, which will provide 1.5 million sq ft of new individually designed and repurposed buildings surrounded by public spaces, including a new urban park.

Henry Boot says its new HQ is intended to back its ambitious growth plans and to support its 2030 net zero carbon commitments.

Tim Roberts, chief executive officer, Henry Boot, said: “After 90 years at Banner Cross Hall this move is a significant one and we consider it to be of incredible importance for our new head office in Sheffield to feel like a fresh and ambitious step forward, providing us with a new environment that encourages greater collaboration and cohesiveness across Henry Boot’s diverse network of teams.

“We are confident that with the diligent and thoughtful approach of ADT Workplace, The Isaacs Building will prove to be the ideal headquarters fit for the long-term future of Henry.”

George Tilbury, commercial manager at ADT Workspace, added: “Working with Henry Boot over the last 12 months has provided us with real insight into their people’s wants and needs, and business processes, which has enabled us to develop a bespoke workplace design which will deliver tangible benefits for the organisation.

“This isn’t simply a change in office location to a fantastic redevelopment in the heart of Sheffield, this is an evolution of the way in which the Henry Boot team works, collaborates, and develops as a team, and we’re really excited to see the project come to fruition over the coming weeks.”
