Agency roundup: The Partners Group; Hatch; GOLD79; and more

York-based PR and communications agency, The Partners Group, is celebrating its 35th year in business this month with a trio of new account wins and an appointment.

Cherelle Jones joins as senior account manager following the company’s string of new client wins including Lindum Packaging, Matchtech Recruitment and Resource Finder UK.

Headquartered in Hull, Resource Finder UK specialises in the recruitment of international healthcare professionals for the NHS.

The Partners Group will generate and manage ongoing media exposure for the company with a strategic communications approach to national and international coverage within key areas, including the Philippines and India.

Partners has also been awarded a brief from Lindum Packaging; a packaging supplier based in Grimsby.

The campaign will cover the launch of Lindum’s Mobile Pallet Stability Test Lab, and a £250,000 Innovation Centre, both of which replicate customer packaging operations and simulate real-life transit conditions to solve pallet stability and pallet wrap issues.

In addition, the agency has been appointed by Matchtech, a Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM) recruitment specialist which is part of Gattaca plc.

The campaign will highlight Matchtech’s efforts to address the ongoing skills shortage and make careers within STEM more exciting and accessible to all.

Partners director Monica Green said: “This is an exciting time for the business. Firstly, I’d like to welcome Cherelle to the team. Her skill set is a perfect match for us, and her wealth of experience will help us continue delivering results for our clients in an ever-changing PR landscape.

“I would also like to welcome our new clients on board. We are looking forward to helping them bolster awareness of their businesses and get their voices heard by the people who matter.

“35 years is quite a milestone, and while PR has evolved a lot over the years, our continued success demonstrates its importance to forward thinking businesses who are investing in solid PR strategies.”

Jones added: “I am thrilled to be joining The Partners Group team at such an exciting time. The campaigns the team delivers are a true reflection of the drive, dedication, and ambition within the business.

“With the support of this incredibly talented team, I am excited to continue delivering campaigns that raise the profile of our clients and tell their stories.”

The Partners Group is spearheaded by Monica Green and Karen Tinkler, who completed a management buyout in 2006.

Leeds-headquartered creative communications agency, Hatch, has been appointed by restaurant group Six by Nico to help launch its new Leeds venue, the first in Yorkshire.

The agency, which specialises in food and drink PR, social media, activations and content production beat a number of other Leeds agencies to win the competitive pitch process, and will now work with Six by Nico to enhance its PR in the region alongside supporting influencer marketing, and out-of-home activations in the build-up the launch.

Founded by chef Nico Simeone, Six by Nico offers diners a six-course tasting menu inspired by a theme, destination or concept. The creative tasting menu changes every six weeks, each with a different theme – inspiring the name Six by Nico.

The restaurant has seen significant growth over the last few years with UK-wide expansion, and earlier this year opened its third venue in Glasgow alone.

Now, its new Leeds restaurant will be officially opening on 3 July, with the help of Hatch.

Helen Simpson, performance and development director at the agency, said: “The opportunity to work with the team at Six by Nico to launch their latest venue in Leeds is something we’re really excited about.

“Six by Nico’s concept is really unique which makes it such a great brief to work on. Combine this with the fact that Leeds has become a real foodie destination over recent years and we’re confident we’ve got a recipe for success on our hands.

“As specialists in food and drink PR, it goes without saying that the team at Hatch are big foodies and have admired the Six by Nico brand for years, which makes this a great win for the team – not just professionally, but personally too.”

Morgan Pope, brand director at Six by Nico, added: “We are very excited to be working with Hatch on the opening of our Leeds restaurant.

“We felt that the team really understood the local connection and buzz we’re looking to achieve here in Leeds, and we are certain the Hatch team will be able to deliver the work at pace to hit the next few weeks with a bang.”

Following its foundation in Leeds 18 years ago, the Lucre Group agency has rebranded as “GOLD79” to celebrate its renewed independence and to usher in the next stage of the company’s development.

The name change has been designed to symbolise the latest stage of evolution for the agency, which originally spearheaded ‘Search Savvy PR’ and later introduced RICH, a content arm to the business.

The agency explains that gold is one of the most highly valued minerals on earth, while 79 represents the purest of all gold.

GOLD79’s specialisms will be:

  • Content – creative copy, design, and video
  • Search – SEO insights and strategy across site and social
  • PR – traditional & digital PR, events, and link-building
  • Social – paid or organic social, community management, and influencer marketing

The agency’s core sectors of travel, food, and drink, home and lifestyle, technology and professional services remain its primary areas of expertise.

Owner and group managing director, Rhona Templer, said: “The Lucre Group has never stopped evolving over our many years of success, under the guidance of Founders Tamarind Wilson-Flint and Sophie Spyropoulos, and as GOLD79, the three of us will continue to drive the business forward.

“We strive to deliver exceptional work every day and our prevailing mantra, the “best or don’t bother”, sits firmly at our core.

“Communication specialists aren’t the only ones living in an increasingly noisy world – clients and customers are too.

“With 328.77 million terabytes of data created each day, content fatigue is inevitable and brands must produce nothing short of pure gold to succeed in cutting through the noise.”
