Property consultancy appointed to trio of housing developments

A residential developer has appointed national property consultancy Savills to market its three developments in West Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Country Properties is currently on site with schemes in Shepley, Skelmanthorpe and Denby Dale.

Paul Brown, managing director of Yorkshire Country Properties, said: “We are excited to be in partnership with Savills on these developments.

“The brand synergy is obvious – we build high quality, tailored homes for our customers, in beautiful locations, that support individual customer needs.

“With three developments ongoing, and more in planning stages, we have a strong pipeline for which we welcome Savills’ expertise and support in realising.”

Developed by Yorkshire Country Properties, there will be a total of 147 properties once work completes, comprising a mix of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes across Denby Dale, Skelmanthorpe and Shepley. 46 of the homes have already been sold or reserved.

Anne Haggas, head of Yorkshire residential development sales at Savills in Leeds, revealed: “There has already been a surge of early interest in the homes on all three sites.

“Yorkshire Country Properties have a proven track record of producing homes of character that meet the demands of modern living and we are happy to have been appointed to market The Willows, Knowle Grange and Whistle Bell Court.

“The property market throughout Yorkshire has been performing particularly well this year, in spite of the challenges that people have faced.”

The first phase of the Knowle Grange scheme in Shepley comprises 31 new homes, including six one-bedroom starter cottages, all of which have been sold. The second phase of the development, which will see a further 52 homes built, is expected to complete in the summer of 2025.

Additional developments at The Willows, Denby Dale and Whistle Bell Court, Skelmanthorpe will both offer a range of one to five-bedroom properties and are expected to complete between summer and autumn of next year.
