Second office opening for expanding human resources specialist

Rapid growth has led Hull-based Humber HR People to open a second office in North Lincolnshire.
Having already outgrown two offices within the Ergo building, Humber HR People is now ready for a larger building of its own.
The firm is keeping its current base within the Bridgehead Business Park in Hessle as a meeting space and opening an additional larger office in the village of Kirmington.
Humber HR People was first launched in 2019 by managing partner Kate van der Sluis and now employs six people, with further growth in the pipeline.
Van der Sluis set up the business to work closely with local employers to change their perception of the Human Resources function.
Over the past five years, the team has worked with over 100 local and regional businesses, and demand for its services continues to rise.
Van der Sluis said: “Humber HR People is going from strength-to-strength. We have seen phenomenal growth over the last five years, and I am happy that we can now move to larger premises which will allow us to serve an even broader client base.
“Having worked in recruitment for many years, I was critically aware of what employees wanted from an employer and where most firms were going wrong.
“I decided to launch my brand of HR to show companies that effective HR is much more than just complying with employment law.
“I am pleased to say our new model of HR is paying dividends for our clients, and our services are in more demand than ever.
“We have plans to grow further in the next few years, including offering apprenticeships. We are keen to help the next generation of HR professionals to build on our vision, and we welcome enquiries from people that share our passion for changing the face of HR.”
